I started my fall front porch makeover this evening, but I felt like it need more! So why not a wreath!?!
While at Michaels to get my foliage for the milk jug I ran across feathers attached to a wire. I HAD to use them! So I grabbed them, a grapevine wreath, and some beads. At home I had some cream wide ribbon and some scraps from the bridesmaid dresses my MIL is making. I was hoping that all of these ingredients would create something fun.
First I stuck the feather wires in the wreath. I simply tucked the ends into the back to keep them from poking out.
Then I made some fabric rosettes, much like the ones I featured earlier from Little Birdie Secrets in both orange & cream. *I was lazy and glued my beads on with Gorilla Glue instead of sewing them on, but shhh don't tell! I ended up thinking that the orange rosette, while very pretty, just didn't pop against the feathers and brown of the wreath.
After that I glued the rosette on the base of the feathers. Tada! Finished fall wreath!
